• Electronic instruments checked

• Coast Guard approved life safety equipment
• All marina fees paid
• Registration and insurance paperwork posted
• Bottom cleaned and free of barnacles and zebra mussels
• Head holding tank pumped out
• Potable water tanks filled
• All stowables secured
• All personal items removed or secured
• Owners contact information posted at the helm and galley
• Mechanics contact information posted at the helm and the engine compartment
• List of any known defects or issues not yet repaired
• Copy of Boat and Yacht Transport contract and receipt for payment
